--- Workshops on Solar Robot --- Solar-Botricks:
Want a way to get started in electronics, and turn junk into something cool? Use the BEAM design philosophy of making it solar-powered for a really long life!

As is clear from the name, Solar Robotricks offers you a unique and spectacular platform for having a tête-à-tête with the new generation solar powered robots. They twist and turn and you amaze at what a few photons of light can do… Yes, power your own marvelous vehicle into a dream worth reckoning.
Drive your imagination into a maze and watch it come out yourself…

It utilizes tiny little high-efficiency motors in combination with elegant circuitry to make a very active robot capable of covering the distance of a meter (3.3 feet) in less than a minute!!!

This Solar-bot is a capable little robot ,powered entirely by solar energy, has light-sensing directional optics (eyes) and a pair of obstacle avoiding sensors. A pair of infrared detectors on the robot gives it a directed phototropic or light-seeking behavior, making it trace outlines around shadows and be attracted to the source of light, where it is the brightest..
