This
Workshop is best suited to beginners who are taking their first
step towards robotics. e-Robotricks workshop basically deals with
designing various kinds of electronic sensors and circuits and their
use in making autonomous robots without using a microcontroller. This
workshop includes detailed hands-on of various type of Actuators
followed by elaborate sessions for controlling the motion of Geared
DC motor. After the workshop students come up with a
- Wired Robot
- Wireless Robot
- Line Tracking Robot
- Sound Operated Robot
- Computer Controlled Robots and many more ...

This workshop is dedicated for making
autonomous robots using a microcontroller. The workshop focuses on
conceptualization and designing of complex systems and will help in
clearing concepts related to embedded systems, artificial intelligence
and automation. This workshop mainly deals with AVR microcontroller
and its programming implementation. The workshop also covers some
basic concepts of electronics and C programming. Students also learn
to design various sensors using Op-Amp and other basic electronic
components. After the workshop, a student will be able to come up
with various autonomous robots like Line follower, Edge Avoider, Obstacle Avoider etc.
A complementary Robotics kit is provided to each participating Team. |

Now you can control your robot
using your Cellphone. This is another amazing workshop dedicated to
designing and controlling your machine using a cellphone. It also
deals with microcontroller programming and customizing for mobile
controlled machines. Introduction to cellphone operations and DTMF
etc. will also be covered. After the workshop, a student will be able
to come up with a machine which can be controlled using a remote
Cellphone. |

Want a way to get started in
electronics, and turn junk into something cool? Use the BEAM design
philosophy of making it solar-powered for a really long life!
As is clear from the name, Solar
Robotricks offers you a unique and spectacular platform for having a
tête-à-tête with the new generation solar powered robots. They twist
and turn and you amaze at what a few photons of light can do… Yes,
power your own marvelous vehicle into a dream worth reckoning.
Drive your imagination into a maze and watch it come out yourself…
It utilizes tiny little high-efficiency
motors in combination with elegant circuitry to make a very active
robot capable of covering the distance of a meter (3.3 feet) in less
than a minute!!!
This Solar-bot is a capable little robot
,powered entirely by solar energy, has light-sensing directional
optics (eyes) and a pair of obstacle avoiding sensors. A pair of
infrared detectors on the robot gives it a directed phototropic or
light-seeking behavior, making it trace outlines around shadows and be
attracted to the source of light, where it is the brightest.. |

It is very true that vision is the
ultimate sophistication in sensor technology. Robosapines India comes
up with the concept of image processing and its application in a
vision robotics workshop. This workshop provides a first hand feel of
Image processing and at the end of the workshop , students will be
able in developing a Vision based ball follower robot. The workshop
also gives a deep insight into the capabilities of an engneer's
ultimate tool, MATLAB.
Robots that will be covered in the workshop:
- Ball Following Robot
- Line Following Robot
- Reach The Goal

| --- Workshops on 3D Maya2009 --- |
Animax: |
|
| This is the most successful
workshop dedicated to the world of animation by Robosapiens India.
It talks about 2D and 3D animation with a very extensive practical
exercise. It basically deals with Autodesk MAYA as the software for
designing 2D and 3D animations. It also covers an overview of the 3D
computer animation industry, Basic modeling techniques, Creation of
materials & Texture maps, Basic lighting techniques, Basic camera
manipulation, Hierarchy linking, Basic key framing techniques,
Rendering and Basic designing techniques in
animated movies. After the workshop participants will come up with a
short 3D movie designed by them. |

| Webnomax: |
--- Workshops on Web Development --- |
|
|
Webnomax deals with website
designing and making it live. The building blocks of a website like
(X)HTML, CSS, PHP, etc are discussed in detail with an elaborate
insight into web technologies and all the behind-the-scene talks of
all the amazing features that has now made the web the ultimate hang
out zone for indians, specially the youth of our country. One also
gets to know scripts, their installation and dynamic web forms that
are the latest trends on online platforms. Control panel handling and
domain purchasing are also part of this amazing workshop. |

This workshop is dedicated to
the making of a 3D Multiplayer Computer Game having
artificially intelligent bots using an open source game engine
‘BLENDER’. The workshop focuses on planning and designing of
Multiplayer 3D First Person Shooting game system and will
help in conceptualizing the Game Engine, Artificial Intelligence (AI)
and Cameras. Basically, this workshop deals with Game Logic
Design (Virtual Sensors, Controllers and Actuators in a Game
Engine), Camera Handling, Lightening Effect with different types of
light, Texturing, Rigging, Animating objects etc. Game development is
not only a platform to transform ideas into viability but also
promises to teach basic ideas of 'Artificial Intelligence'. |
